Common Middle Level Essay Topics

Common Middle Level Essay TopicsThe ISEE curriculum includes two standard middle level essay topics. The first is the Personal Narrative and the second is the Conceptual Essay. Both of these essay topics have been tested and have proven to be both challenging and helpful for students in standardized tests. The Personal Narrative Essay is using to describe a personal experience, a memory, a loved one, a film clip, or anything that does not mention another person. Some examples are 'My boy left us; I miss him so much; I am happy I found someone new.' When these essays are prepared for use in tests, they are analyzed for grammar and writing skill to determine if the student made errors. Essays that are scored above an eighty percent pass rate are deemed successful. The Conceptual Essay is using to describe a concept in a single paragraph. One example might be 'Being in love with words.' These essays are usually created for high school use in English classes. They are used to show concepts to be studied further. Most commonly, these concepts are related to a field of study, such as mathematics, science, or literature. The second of the two middle level essay topics is used in college and university level courses. This topic is the Objective Essay. Here, the writer explains why they believe the subject to be important and/or significant.Students write this type of essay in front of a test-taker in order to test their understanding. While the topics may seem similar, it is actually quite different from the Personal Narrative essay in that it is written to demonstrate knowledge rather than emotion. Not only do middle level essay topics give students a chance to demonstrate their understanding, but they also help themto reach the highest level of grades possible. When the topics are prepared ahead of time, the student will not get as nervous about writing an essay and should be able to create a well-written essay quickly. The Objectives and Methods sections can be more diff icult to prepare for because they require the use of more words and therefore have higher stakes for students in college students. In the middle level essay topics, students write about their basic understanding of what is written on the essay. For middle level objectives, students use their understanding of how they are presented to the essay and demonstrate why they believe the material is important.Of all the middle level essay topics, the Personal Narrative essay seems to be the most difficult to study for. It is also one of the most difficult to prepare for. This is because the content on this type of essay is not widely used by students in class.
